Solihull Chess Club was founded in 1947, and meets every Wednesday from 7.15pm in the Whitaker Room at the Blossomfield Club, Widney Lane, Solihull, West Midlands, B91 3JY. Click here to see a map. We enter a number of teams in both the Birmingham & District Chess League and the Leamington & District Chess League, and also run an internal Club Championship and informal tournaments. Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner, whether you prefer to play competitively or socially, you will be more than welcome. Furthermore, joining a club and playing regularly is one of the best ways to improve your game!
